Shopping before a party
Jun 22nd, 2009 by admin

Women want to feel like they are the best and the most beautiful. For some of them it is not a problem to experience such feelings in their everyday lives. For others it is a kind of complicated. And there are special moments when some women can finally relax and be the princesses.

Bachelorette parties is one event wherein women can relax and be princesses. And what better way to prep up for the event than to go shopping? Bachelorette parties are usually organized by professional agencies and the only thing that is left for a bride-to-be is the choice of a dress and other accessories. It can be very pleasant if you do shopping in the best cities of the world, such as Milan, Paris, Los Angeles, London, etc. The only disadvantage is the amount of money it costs. But such moments happen once in a lifetime and you should save money on them. Buy expensive wine online and the best jewelry to amaze all your friends.

Every woman deserves to look great and to feel happy. You are those who create your lives. Just try to relax more often and expensive and good shopping is extremely helpful in these cases. Enjoy your lives and try not to lose a wonderful feeling after a bachelorette party.

Canvas Shoes and Apparel for Charity
Jun 1st, 2009 by admin

There’s a growing trend in marketing today, some retailers are becoming philanthropists and are either donating a portion of their earnings to charity or donating the whole sales of a certain product to charity. Two of these retailer-philanthropist are tomsshoes.com and chemo-couture.com

Tomsshoes.com

Tomsshoes.com is an online retailer of shoes, most specifically, canvas, woven, and vegan shoes. Their goal? For every shoes you purchase, one shoes will be given to a child in need. That’s one shoes for one. There are a lot of children in poor countries growing up without barefoot and the owner aims to alleviate that problem through Tomsshoes’ business model.

Toms shoes was started in 2006 and since then, they have given away around 140,000 shoes to children. So the next time you’re thinking of buying canvas shoes or woven shoes, you can buy from Toms Shoes to make sure that a child somewhere doesn’t have to go barefoot.

Chemo-Couture.com

Chemo-Couture on the other hand, is a fairly new website and while not specializing in shoes, they have a variety of clothing and accessories. Five percent of their sales goes to charity to find a cure for cancer. Some of their products include T-Shirts, blankets, scarves, and bags. Their website is targeted for those with cancer or whose loved ones are fighting cancer. They have a collection for chemo day which includes some products that can be used while undergoing chemo such as blankets, seat belt covers, cooler and some apparel. In the website’s “about us” page, the owners talk about how they wanted to build products that are ideal gifts for persons undergoing chemotherapy.

These are only two websites that are giving back to charity. Next time you go shopping, you might want to shop with a conscience and choose a retailer that gives back to charity as well.

Save on your UK concert tickets
Jan 27th, 2009 by admin

I will be visiting my sister who’s in the UK in August and my travel date corresponds to the August Bank Holiday. My sister told me of an old music festival that takes place in Reading, UK, called the Reading Festival. She wanted me to book advanced tickets online since she wanted me to have a blast on my visit. Anyways, I found a website called seatwave.com which sells festival tickets straight from fans or other users of their websites.

Tickets at seatwave includes camping so that should be fun. I just mentioned the website because depending on your luck, you might be able to come by some spare tickets sold my another user and get it at less than their selling value. Of course, if the user is a scalper, they might charge higher for the tickets. If the Reading Festival got your interests piqued, you can read more information on the Reading Festival 2009 over at reading-festival.net.
